We are proud to be a part of a group of resort reservation agencies for the State of California. When planning a California vacation, there are a lot of choices and we hope you will consider visiting our friends and partners in Lake Tahoe.

One of the most popular places to stay in Lake Tahoe is in Incline Village, which is located on the North east shore. This side of the lake is warmer in the summer so getting beach rentals in Incline Village are extremely popular.

Lake Tahoe, located in Northern California is just 7 hours north of Big Bear. You can leave in the morning from Los Angeles and be there for dinner without rushing. The drive, whether you drive along the coast up Highway 5 or up Highway 395 through the Mojave desert is both beautiful and interesting. We particularly like the drive up Highway 395 as their are monuments and gorgeous forest that you must drive through.

On the south shore of Lake Tahoe you will find plenty of activities both in winter and summer. A Tahoe vacation in winter is usually spent during the days on the ski slopes of one of the 3 south Tahoe ski resorts, and in the evening watching headline entertainment and one the larger hotels which also have casinos. Most people want top quality Lake Tahoe luxury rentals for their vacation, and you should call the folks at City Concierge to book your reservations as they have a great selection. In summer on the south shore, you will likely want a lakefront cabin, plan to go jet skiing, or stay in the forest near the hiking and biking trails. In south Lake Tahoe, the city is actually called "South Lake Tahoe".

The north is a whole different set up. North Lake Tahoe is actually called "Tahoe City" and is comprised of several small towns pushed together. Tahoe City is next to Truckee home of "Northstar" ski resort, and Olympic Valley home of "Squaw Valley" made famous from the 1960 Winter Olympics. Winter of course is skiing and snowboarding but summer is completely different as the Truckee river takes the forefront, and river rafting, boating, kayaking and mountain biking take the forefront. North Tahoe cabin rentals are available on a beach, in the forest or near one of the resorts. The resorts are popular because of the amount of activities that are localized.

Boating of all kinds, from sailboats, to jet skis, paddle boards, to the classic wooden boats are popular and many folks come from the bay area to take advantage of the weather. Here in Incline Village you'll find a great group of rental homes as well as condos, close to the water, and surrounded by the cutest little beachy town. It is a great

Bear Mountain is usually the last resort to open and the first to close as it is not as large as Snow Summit. The great thing though is that you can buy a pass that is good at both resorts. When you purchase them online you can save on your lift ticket cost.
