Lakeview Estate in Big Bear, call us to reserve this one

This is a family home in the lodge style called "Lakeview Estate". Like its name, this Big Bear vacation rental sits lakefront. Lakefront rentals are bigger than traditional Big Bear vacation rentals so your getaway may include the extended family. You'll find more like this or even bigger when you do a search for your accommodations. Take a look at what your vacation could be.

Lakefront homes are popular vacation rentals in summer for families who have boats and jet-skis. Kids love being able to stumble out the back door and play on the shore or go for a swim.

Big Bear Reservations offers vacation rentals for your next getaway to the mountains. The accommodations were designed for those who want to stay in a place that is at least equal to the regular home you live in. They sit at the top of the mountain many with stellar views of the forest or Big Bear Lake, or are on the shore, or even close to the ski slopes. These Big Bear vacation rentals are fashionably styled and in a class apart from the more traditional "A frame" cabin rental.

Perfect for a family or couple who are on a budget, the traditional Big Bear rentals still has most of the frills, warm and cozy comfort and are getaways when budget necessitates. Even the economical condos and vacation rentals can be close to the base of the lodges or walking distance to downtown.

The definition of a vacation rental is a home that is privately owned, but managed professionally. With all our properties, customer service is key. 24/7 front desk service is available when you need assistance anytime of the day. We are committed to excellent service and satisfied customers. There is no compromise, and our property managers are local to Big Bear. You'll also save by paying less fees than national sites.

Our Big Bear rentals whether big or small come fully stocked. In the kitchen you'll find all the basic appliances, coffee makers, refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave and toaster. There will be pots, pans, cooking utensils, dishes, glassware and usually even salt and pepper. While each property is unique and equipped slightly differently, you should be able to cook most basic meals. If you're going to cook something fancy, you might want to bring those items. The bedrooms and bathrooms have sheets, linens, towels all very similar to a hotel. Daily maid service is not provided, but may be requested for an additional fee.

During colder months, you'll want to use the fireplace and a starter amount of wood is provided, but you may want to purchase some wood to keep the fire roaring. BBQ are sometimes available at select locations, however you will need to provide your own utensils and charcoal if grillin' goes with your chillin'. And if you're not in the mood to cook, there are plenty of restaurants in town. Just ask us about all the extras you might want in your Big Bear vacation rental and we'll see what we can do to make it happen.

Lakefront Rentals

Big Bear lakefront rentals from Big Bear

Set in an alpine environment, Big Bear Lake is magnificent. Our lakefront rentals may come with a boat dock, private beach, or just be sitting on the edge of the water. The homes are larger with 4 or more bedrooms, equal number of bathrooms and are well equipped with full kitchens, fireplaces and have assorted amenities to make your vacation special. The lake provides hours of fun or you can just cozy up with a book, get a tan, and sit along the shore with your toes in the water. Big Bear lake is home to some of the best tasting trout ever and you can rent boats, sail boats, paddle boards, jet skis, water ski or just do a little fishing from the shore.

During summer months floating on the water is the most popular activity. Rolling out of bed to a lakefront cabin is something you just can't do when you're at home. Fisherman go crazy over their catch too as there is a wide variety of fish to catch in the lake and the nearby streams. The most popular fish varieties are the large mouth bass, rainbow trout, black crappie, blue catfish and bluegill. The lake is very boat friendly and you can bring your own, rent one, or put your fishing pole in from the lake shore. The lake is big and full of little fingers that make up lagoons so you can always find a quiet secluded spot.

If you're a fisherman and traveling in the warmer months, you should consider the experience of a lakefront rental in Big Bear. Rolling out of bed, coffee in hand, and putting your feet in the lake (or your rod and reel) is quite a memorable vacation. Many of the lakefront accommodations will have private beaches, a sandy shore, a boat dock, or be right on the water with those amenities very close. Lakefront rentals are the first to be reserved any time of the year, so be sure to make your reservations in plenty of time. You can make instant reservations for any properties you see as we only show you what is available for your exact arrival dates. You can also email your choices to your friends.
